'Now & Then' to Be Theme of This Week's AMERICAN IDOL

As first reported on TVLine.com, the theme for this Wednesday night's AMERICAN IDOL will be 'Now & Then', with each of the remaining 7 contestants singing two songs, a number one Billboard hit from 2000 to 2012, and a "soul" song from a previous decade.

AMERICAN IDOL returned for its 11th season with Emmy®-nominated host Ryan Seacrest, global icon Jennifer Lopez, rock legend Steven Tyler, and Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson. The judges heard from talented singers in seven cities across the nation, sending the best to Hollywood. The show airs on FOX on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Kris Allen and LMFAO will be the featured musical guests on this week's episode.
