'Nightline' Ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 for Week of 7/10

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.227 million) and Adults 25-54 (498,000) during the week of July 10, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media

Research. "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.120 million and 366,000, respectively) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.102 million and 456,000, respectively).

"Nightline" scored double-digit, week-to-week increases (1.120 million, 395,000 and 275,000, respectively, for w/o 7/3/17) in Total Viewers (+10%), Adults 25-54 (+26%) and Adults 18-49 (+33%), hitting 4-week highs in both key adult demos - since w/o 6/12/17.

Season to date, "Nightline" leads CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+106,000 - 1.434 million vs. 1.328 million), Adults 25-54 (+41,000 - 540,000 vs. 499,000) and Adults 18-49 (+24,000 - 408,000 vs. 384,000).

Stories on "Nightline" last week included a report by Senior Foreign Correspondent Ian Pannell on the front lines with Iraqi forces fighting ISIS in Mosul, a breakdown of Donald Trump Jr.'s emails about meeting with Russian attorney, a special edition examining how the deadly fire that engulfed London's Grenfell Tower transpired and an interview with cast members from "Game of Thrones."

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Dan Harris, Juju Chang and Byron Pitts. ROXANNA Sherwood is executive producer, and Steven Baker is senior broadcast producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m. EDT, on The ABC Television Network. Together with "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Nightline" is part of ABC's winning late-night strategy of airing news and entertainment programming.
