NBC's TONIGHT SHOW Retains 100% of Prior Week's Rating in Key Demo

In its eighth week, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" continued to generate strong results, retaining 100% of the prior week's adult 18-49 rating and growing +2% week to week in total viewers.

Compared with "Tonight's" results for the same week last year, Fallon's 1.18 rating in adults 18-49 for the week of April 7-11 was up +42% versus the year-ago 0.83.

In fact, Fallon's 1.18 came within 0.05 of a rating point of the combined 18-49 results of CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (0.57) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.66). In total viewers, Fallon outdelivered Letterman by 37% (3.916 million vs. 2.849 million) and Kimmel by 44% (3. 916 million vs. 2.715 million). Fallon's 3.916 million viewers overall for the week of April 7-11 was a +2% increase versus the prior week's 3.829 million.

Note: "Late Show" was delayed by sports coverage on Monday, Thursday and Friday and those telecasts are excluded from the week's averages. Also, Friday's "Kimmel" was an encore

At 12:35 a.m. ET, week seven of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" outscored CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in all key ratings measures. It also topped ABC's "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. ET in every key category.

In adult 18-49 rating, Meyers beat Ferguson by a 30% margin for the week (with a 0.56 rating vs. a 0.43) and outdelivered "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour by 71% (0.65 vs. 0.38 from 12:30-1 a.m.).
