NBC's TONIGHT SHOW Continues Dominance of 'Late Show' for Week of 11/16

THE TONIGHT SHOW has claimed the late-night ratings week of Nov. 16-20, outscoring CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" by a +79% margin in adults 18-49, the biggest advantage yet for Fallon versus Colbert.

For the week, Fallon scored a 1.00 rating in 18-49 versus Colbert's 0.56.

It's the fifth week in a row (excluding a week of Colbert encores) that Fallon has established a new biggest-yet margin versus "The Late Show."

In the prior 10 weeks since Colbert debuted, Fallon's margins in 18-49 have been +28% for the week of Sept. 7-11, +38% for Sept. 14-18, +35% for Sept. 21-25, +41% for Sept. 28-Oct. 2, +38% for Oct. 5-9, +56% for Oct. 12-16, +54% for the encore week of Oct. 19-23, +59% for Oct. 26-30, +60% for Nov. 2-6 and +70% for Nov. 9-13.

For the week of Nov. 16-20, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" pulled within 0.02 of a rating point of "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in 18-49 (0.54 vs. 0.56) and within 0.04 of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.54 vs. 0.58), despite starting an hour later versus both shows. It's the narrowest gap to date between Meyers and Colbert, with the prior smallest margin being 0.05 during the week of Nov. 2-6 (0.52 vs. 0.57).

For the week, Fallon and Meyers' hit seven-week highs in 18-49, their top ratings (1.00 for Fallon, 0.54 for Meyers) since Sept. 28-Oct. 2 (1.03 and 0.55 respectively).

For the week, Fallon and Meyers outdelivered their ABC and NBC time-period competition in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

In adults 18-49 at 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (0.33) outrated CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.30), despite starting an hour later.
