NBC's THE VOICE is #1 for Tuesday Night

NBC is #1 Tuesday night in 18-49 with the #1 show of the night in 18-49, "The Voice." For the first time in People Meter history (dating back to 1987), NBC is #1 in 18-49 on each of the first seven Tuesdays of the season among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

"The Biggest Loser" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 6.8 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) jumped 17% week to week in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.8) and by 13% in total viewers (6.821 million vs. 6.050 million), pending updates. These are three-week highs for "Loser," best since its season premiere hit a 2.3/7 and 7.2 million viewers on Oct. 15.

"The Biggest Loser" grew half-hour to half-hour in every key category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- including a gain of 10% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.2 from a 2.1). "The Biggest Loser" finished #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in women 18-34.

"The Voice" (3.3/9 in 18-49, 11,2 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and other key measures on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. The two-hour "Voice" won the slot in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. In adults 18-49, "The Voice" is running within 6% of last week's 3.5 in these prelim fast-affiliate rating and within 8% of last week's 3.6 in official nationals.


In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.6/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/6.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
