NASCAR America, NBCSN's daily show dedicated to the nation's longstanding fascination with speed and stock car racing, heads to Austin, Texas, this weekend for South by Southwest. NASCAR on NBC's lead race announcer Rick Allen and features reporter Rutledge Wood conduct a Saturday evening panel from the NBC Sports Lawn, focusing on NASCAR's symbiotic relationship with technology and social media.

Beginning at 6 p.m. CT, Allen and Wood will discuss social media's impact on the sport. Over the last 10 years, social media engagement has permeated the daily lives and operations of drivers, race teams, fans and broadcasters. Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte and NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Austin Dillon join the conversation live from Phoenix International Raceway, the location of this weekend's big race. Driver of the No. 3 Dow Chevrolet, Dillon has had a strong start to the 2016 season, finishing ninth, 11th and fifth in the first three races of the year.

If you are unable to join the conversation live at SXSW, make sure to follow @NASCARonNBC on twitter for live updates throughout the presentation. The panel discussion will also stream live on Periscope.
