MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, March 12, according to Nielsen data. 3.812 million total viewers tuned into MTP this past Sunday. MTP beat CBS' "Face the Nation" by nine percent (+316,000 viewers). This marks the network broadcast's seventh win out of the past eight weeks among total viewers.

MTP also won in the key demo valued most by news advertisers for the ninth straight week, delivering 1.157 million viewers: +38 percent (+320,000) more than CBS. Compared to last year, MTP has more than doubled its advantage in the demo over CBS (+320,000 vs. +141,000). This past Sunday marked the 22nd straight broadcast in which MTP has delivered more than one million viewers in the key demo: its best showing since the 2008-2009 season.

MTP ranks #1 season-to-date across the board for the first time since 2010-2011 with its biggest audiences to start a season in eight years. In the A25-54 demo, MTP holds its best advantages over ABC since 2010-2011 and over CBS since 2008-2009.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market of newsmakers, winning its 89th consecutive broadcast. The show has now won every Sunday for almost two years (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 1.796 million total viewers and 423,000 A25-54 viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
