NBC's LAW & ORDER SVU Encore Wins Timeslot

A 10-11 p.m. ET "Law & Order: SVU" encore (0.8/2 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) won the 10 p.m. hour in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS and NBC versus CBS's original "Reckless" and ABC's encore "Castle." From its first half-hour to its second, the "SVU" rebroadcast grew by +14% in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 from a 0.7), by +25% in adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.8) and by +13% in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.8 million), despite the 10 p.m. hour.

The 10 p.m. "SVU" rebroadcast built on its lead-in from a 9 p.m. "SVU" encore by +33% in 18-49 and +29% in total viewers.

A 9 p.m. "Law & Order: SVU" rebroadcast averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 2.3 million viewers overall. From half-hour to half-hour, the 9 p.m. "SVU" encore grew by +13% in total viewers (to 2.4 million from 2.1 million).

An encore "American Ninja Warrior" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall from 7-9 p.m. ET) built consistently through its four half-hours, with this track in adults 18-49: 0.4, 0.5, 0.7, 0.8. The "Ninja" rebroadcast grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by +100% in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 rating from a 0.4) and by +60% or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (2.9 million vs. 1.8 million).
