NBC's DATELINE is Currently Reporting its Highest Results in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

Friday Primetime Results (Note that NBC carried NBA Playoff basketball in the Portland market):

"Dateline NBC" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently reporting its highest results in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (1.7 rating) in the 8-9 p.m. hour in four weeks, since March 8 (1.3 in 18-49, 1.8 in 25-54), pending updates. "Dateline" is currently +up 33% in adults 18-49 versus the 0.9/4 for last week's 8 p.m. encore, up +31% in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.3) and up +15% in total viewers (6.006 million vs. 5.240 million).

"Dateline" is currently winning the 8 p.m. ET hour among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and is #1 or tied for #1 in adults, men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 25-54, pending updates.

"Grimm" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) is currently up +18% versus its prior original in adults 18-49 (with a 1.3 rating vs. a 1.1 on April 11) and up +10% in total viewers (5.226 million vs. 4.730 million), despite being preempted last week (pending updates). "Grimm" 1.3 currently ties it for the night's #1 rating among Big 4 scripted programs in adults 18-49. L+7 Time-Shifting: The April 4 "Grimm" gained in L+7 by 65% or 0.89 of a rating point in 18-49 (to a 2.25 from a 1.36) and by 2.4 million viewers overall (7.3 million vs. 4.9 million).

"Hannibal" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) is delivering a four-week high in adults 18-49 (best since another 1.0 on March 28), and is currently up +25% week to week (with a 1.0 rating vs. a 0.8), pending updates. It's also a four-week high in adults 25-54 (with a 1.1 rating) and total viewers. In the time period "Hannibal" is currently tied for #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 (with a 0.8 rating) and #1 outright among those nets in men 18-34 (0.9), pending updates. L+7 Time-Shifting: The April 4 "Hannibal" grew in L+7 by 76% or 0.59 of a rating point in 18-49 (to a 1.37 from a 0.78) and by more than 1.2 million viewers overall (3.4 million vs. 2.2 million).

"Hannibal" is currently matching its highest adult 18-49 rating since its season premiere on Feb. 28 did a 1.1.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
