Following soccer, the excitement on NBC UNIVERSO will go full throttle when the NASCAR Mexico Series heads to the Autódromo del Ecocentro de la Unión Ganadera in Querétaro, Mexico for the Queretana 200 at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT.

Premier League

Saturday's match for Liverpool has great significance, as teammates and fans will say adiós to Steven Gerrard, a club superstar who has made more than 700 appearances across all competitions. Gerrard's importance to the club and its fans is undeniable, But, when the whistle blows, everyone's focus will be on the Reds as they attempt to secure a victory and the three points desperately needed to possibly move on to post Premier League regular season play. The stakes for Crystal Palace are not as high, as the Eagles will play for pride and finish their season firmly in the middle of the table.

Manchester City has won its last four matches and Swansea City has won its last three. Both clubs are playing well and are looking to finish the regular seasons on a high note. City is ranked second in the league, due in part to the play of Sergio Aguero, who has scored in each of his last five Premier League matches. During this time, the striker has netted eight goals in total and looks to keep the streak alive despite having never found the back of the net in six consecutive league appearances.

Making the call for both Premier League matches this weekend will be former Mexican National Team player Manuel Sol and soccer analyst Sammy Sadovnik.

NASCAR Mexico Series (NMS)

The Queretana 200 will be the fourth race in the NASCAR Mexico Series this season. Race fans across the U.S. can catch all the revved-up action as one of Series' most exciting drivers, Ruben Pardo, returns to Queretaro - the place where he got his first checkered flag, and attempt to catch lightening in a bottle. Pardo won the NMS opener in Phoenix. However, he finished sixth in the following two NMS races - the Potosina 200 and Tuxtla 240. There is another Ruben who was faster to the finish line. Ruben Rovelo took first place in both the Potosina 200 and Tuxtla 240. Despite Pardo's recent lackluster finishes, he currently in holds the first place spot in the Driver Standings. Fans can tune in this Saturday to see if either Ruben will earn a trip to the winner's circle.
