NBC Sports Group's coverage of the 2016 cycling season continues as NBC Sports Gold begins live coverage of the 2016 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships tomorrow, Friday, September 9, at 2:40 p.m. ET, with the men's and women's 4X competition. NBC Sports Gold's live coverage of the event continues Sunday, September 11, at 6:40 a.m. ET, with coverage of the men's and women's downhill event.

Universal HD will televise encore presentations of each event, beginning tomorrow at 10:30 p.m. ET with men's and women's 4X.

Held in Italy's Val di Sole, the 2016 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships is headlined by the 2015 men's world champion Loïc Bruni of France, and 2015 women's world champion Rachel Atherton of the U.K.
