opular host Matt Blashaw will return to DIY Network for the new season of Yard Crashers. In production now, the newest season of the series, which will premiere in April 2017, stars the licensed contractor as he searches home improvement stores for shoppers who are game to get a total backyard makeover.

During the season, Matt will transform old, unusable outdoor spaces into spectacular staycation-worthy destinations. Each episode features Matt and his YARD CRASHERS team as they add fun elements to backyards, such as full-service outdoor kitchens, relaxing water features and cozy fire pits - all of which will be completed in just a couple of days.

Professional landscaper Chris Lambton, who took the YARD CRASHERS reins for Matt while he worked on a series for HGTV, has a new landscaping show in development with DIY Network.

"I had a blast filling in for Matt on Yard Crashers," said Chris. "We created some amazing yards on the show and now I'm working on a landscaping pilot where I can do even more to show people how to maximize their backyard potential."

To see more of Matt's latest yard crash, tune-in to his Facebook Live video that airs on DIY Network's Facebook page today at 1 p.m. ET.
