Martha Plimpton Guest Stars on CBS' 'The Good Wife' Tonight, 10/20

Stage star Martha Plimpton will make a guest appearance on CBS's The Good Wife tonight, October 20, in an episode entitled: Alicia and Will have 72 Hours to Prove that a Train Company, and Not the Engineers, is Responsible for a Freight Train Crash, and Secure the Widows their Husbands' Pensions. The episode airs on CBS at 10:00-11:00 PM, EST.

Martha Plimpton, recently seen on Grays Anatomy, will guest staras the train company's 'Very Pregnant Attorney.'

In the episode, Alicia and Will have only 72 hours to find the smoking gun that proves the train company, and not the three engineers, is responsible for the crash, thus securing the widows their pensions the company is holding back. Meanwhile, Jackie and Alicia clash over taking the children to visit their father in prison.  

Plimpton will be joining series regulars: Julianna MarguliesChristine BaranskiJosh Charles, Archie Panjabi, Matt Czuchry, Makenzie Vega, and Graham Phillips.

The episode is written by Ted Humphrey and directed by Gloria Muzio.

Plimpton has appeared on Broadway in Top Girls, The Coast of Utopia, Cymbeline, and Pal Joey.  In addition to starring in Shakespeare in the Park's A Midsummer Night's Dream for the Public Theater, she has appeared in dozens of productions with some of the country's most famed regional theaters including The New York Theatre Workshop, The Steppenwolf Theatre and the Seattle Repertory Theatre.  Once a Calvin Klein model, the actress has appeared on screen in The Goonies, Running on Empty, Woody Allen's Another Woman, and the television series Family Ties.
