MADDOW, THE LAST WORD Secure Top Spot Ratings in Key Demo, Week of 12/3-12/7

December 10, 2012 – MSNBC's "The Rachel Maddow Show" at 9 p.m. ET and "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" at 10 p.m. ET were both #1 in the A25-54 demo, topping both Fox News Channel and CNN for the week, according to data from Nielsen. For the week of Dec. 3-7, "Maddow" at 9 p.m. was #1 with 337,000 A25-54, while FNC's "Hannity" was second with 320,000 and CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" placed third with 126,000. Rachel Maddow hosted Monday-Tuesday, Chris Hayes hosted on Wednesday and Ezra Klein hosted Thursday-Friday.

"The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" at 10 p.m. ET had 289,000 A25-54 for the week. FNC's "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" was second with 271,000 A25-54 and CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" placed third with 121,000 A25-54. Alex Wagner hosted "The Last Word" on Friday.

"The Rachel Maddow Show" at 9 p.m. and "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" at 10 p.m. have ranked #1 among A25-54 for four of the five weeks following the Presidential election.
