Radaronline reports that Lindsay Lohan will host the Season Opener of NBC's SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. The troubled actress has recently been seen as a fill-in host on E!'s 'Chelsea Lately' and the subject of a one-on-one interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Following a 90-day court ordered stint in rehab, the beleaguered 27-year-old claims to have turned over a new leaf in an attempt to change her current reputation as a difficult actress to work with.

A source close to SNL told RadarOnline.com, "Saturday Night Live has approached Lindsay to host the show again, and they were talking about the season opener," They continue, "She is definitely considering doing it," the source said. "She loves the show and the people involved."

The appearance will mark the sixth time Lohan has hosted the hit NBC series. She was last seen in 2012 for which she received poor reviews for her erratic performance. Following the show, the actress entered one of many three-month stays in rehab.

Yet the source tells the site that things have changed since then. "Lindsay is doing really, really well. She is going to business meetings and she's been on time for every single one of them. This is the best I've seen her in years."
