"Hot in Cleveland" has begun production today on its fifth season, which will premiere in spring 2014, it was announced by Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land. With amazing guest stars including Emmy(R)-nominated Max Greenfield, "The Office's" Angela Kinsey, Kirstie Alley from TV Land's new original sitcom "Kirstie," and returning guest stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Craig Ferguson and more, "Hot in Cleveland" is getting even hotter as it nears 100 episodes.

"100 episodes is a huge accomplishment for any TV show," said Jones. "We're so proud of the cast and crew, and we're looking forward to another fantastic season with new twists and turns in every episode."

Guest star Max Greenfield, well-known as the hilariously obnoxious Schmidt on "New Girl," will play a charming con man who poses as a pet adoption consultant, while Angela Kinsey will portray an Admissions Counselor for a pre-school that Joy (Jane Leeves) wants her grandson Wilbur to attend. "Hot in Cleveland" is also welcoming back some favorites from past seasons, including Jennifer Love Hewitt ("The Client List"); Craig Ferguson ("The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"); John Mahoney ("Frasier"); Michael McMillian ("True Blood"); Jay Harrington ("Better Off Ted"); Dave Foley ("The Kids in the Hall"); and Georgia Engel ("The Mary Tyler Moore Show") as Elka's (Betty White) BFF, Mamie Sue.

When the fifth season begins, Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) will deal with The Aftermath of the shocking news she received in the season four finale: she's pregnant. The season will have some more surprises in store for Melanie as she starts to date one of her favorite singers. However, when the relationship goes south and he catches her in a lie, she gets "Taylor Swift-ed" and becomes the target of his latest hit song. This season will also include a crossover between "Hot in Cleveland" and "Kirstie," TV Land's newest original sitcom! The ladies travel to New York City, and in order to improve her "Oscar karma," Victoria (Wendie Malick) confesses an old Betrayal to her ex-roommate, Broadway star Maddie Banks (Kirstie Alley).

Most recently, "Hot in Cleveland" made headline news when the female cast of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" reunited in an episode that aired September 4th. The reunion aired back to back with the sitcom's cliffhanger finale and each episode drew in over 2.5 million total viewers, with the "Mary Tyler Moore" episode scoring the most total viewers for the sitcom since March 2012 (Source: Nielsen, 9/4/13, L+3).

"Hot in Cleveland" is executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winner Sean Hayes ("Will And Grace") and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions and is helmed by Emmy(R) Award-winning Suzanne Martin ("Frasier," "Ellen") serving as executive producer, show runner and writer. Lynda Obst also serves as executive producer, and Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox are executive producers for TV Land. "Hot in Cleveland" is currently seen around the world in 211 countries.
