Katey Sagal Joins Cast of PITCH PERFECT 2

PITCH PERFECT 2 has added another new actress to its cast.

According to Deadline, SONS OF ANARCHY's Katey Sagal has signed on for the sequel to the hit 2012 musical comedy, joining Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, and Hailee Steinfeld. Elizabeth Banks will direct, with Kay Cannon also returning to pen the script. Sagal will play the mother of Steinfeld's character.

Pitch Perfect 2 hits theaters on May 15, 2015.

In PITCH PERFECT, when Beca leads this acoustic singing group out of their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mashups, they fight to climb their way to the top of college music competitions. This could wind up either the coolest thing they'll ever do or the most insane, and it will probably be a little of both. The Pitch Perfect ensemble includes Kendrick (Twilight, Up in the Air), Anna Camp (The Help), Brittany Snow (Hairspray) and Wilson (Bridesmaids, Bachelorette).

Sagal's TV credits include her role as 'Peggy Bundy' in FOX's Married...with Children, which earned her four Golden Globe Award nominations, her voice work as 'Leela' on Futurama, 8 Simple Rules, and, of course, FX'sSons of Anarchy, for which she won a 2011 Golden Globe. Sagal is also a singer/songwriter, having released the albums "Well..." and "Room"
