Based on National ratings for the week of December 17, 2012, KATIE once again earned first place among all new syndicated talk shows, leading runner-up "StEve Harvey" by substantial margins in Households (+29% - 1.8 rating vs. 1.4 rating), Total Viewers (+25% - 2.395 million vs. 1.919 million) and Women 25-54 (+25% - 1.0 rating vs. 0.8 rating).

"Katie" finished as the No. 1 freshman talker for the 15th week in a row in Homes and Total Viewers. Overall, "Katie" is TV's biggest new syndicated talk show since 2009 - since "Dr. Oz" launched.

Growing its overall audience for the 3rd week running (2.395 million vs. 2.388 million), "Katie" pulled in its largest Total Viewer count in 5 weeks to deliver its 2nd-most-watched week since October - since w/o 11/12/12 and 10/22/12, respectively. Additionally, the program scored double-digit week-to-week gains across all key Women demos (W18-34 +67%, W18-49 +17% and W25-54 +11%), equaling its highest-ever rating with Women 18-34. In fact "Katie" was the only freshman talker to build week over week in any of the three key Women measures.

Of the 18 total talkers currently in the syndicated market, freshman "Katie" ranks among the top-tier across all key measures: Households (No. 6 - 1.9 rating), Total Viewers (No. 6 - 2.460 million) and Women 25-54 (No. 6 - 1.0 rating).

"Katie" is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Jeff Zucker and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Co-executive producers are Kathy Samuels and Michael Bass and the program is directed by Joseph Terry.
