According to The Hollywood Reporter, Justin Long has boarded Fox's upcoming single-camera comedy pilot SOBER COMPANION from 90210's David S. Rosenthal and Jennie Snyder Urman. Long, who's appeared on the network's NEW GIRL, joins previously announced Pete Davidson and Ally Maki.

"the comedy centers on a charming but self-destructive attorney who finds his world turned upside down when a court-appointed and highly unconventional sober companion takes control of his life. "

Long will take on the role of "Jeremy, the perennially upbeat, maddeningly eccentric sober companion who uses unconventional methods to keep clients clean."

Long's recent projects include The Lookalike and Undiscovered Gyrl. He last appeared in In Case Of You, which he co-wrote and acted as producer. Other film credits include Best Man Down, The Conspirator, He's Just Not That Into You, Zack and Miri Make a Porno and more. Long has also appeared in the TV series Unsupervised and Ed.
