This October, Investigation Discovery (ID) celebrates the second year of its multi-platform public affairs campaign INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE to shed light on issues of crime and victim's rights. Now in its sophomore year, ID is bolstering its commitment to INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE by dedicating an entire day of ID's favorite series and specials that address social injustices such as domestic violence, social and civil rights, mental health, bullying and sexual assault. ID invites viewers to join our pledge and speak out in support of victims' rights at InspireADifference.com/Pledge. Throughout the marathon, some of ID's favorite hosts, including Charisma Carpenter (SURVIVING EVIL) and Dr. Michelle Ward (STALKED), will chat live with viewers on twitter about ways the online community can take action and "inspire a difference" @DiscoveryID (#InspireADifference). Kicking off on-air and online at 3PM on Sunday, October 19, the INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE marathon is an interactive programming event featuring incredible stories of survival to empower viewers to take action and make a difference in the lives of others.

With the support of leading national nonprofit organizations, including the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV), INSPIRE A DIFFERENCE is designed to help empower viewers to make an impact in their own communities. The campaign employs all of ID's promotional assets, including on-air PSAs and social and digital resources.
