The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen have announced an upcoming series of reports highlighting how more adults are receiving the gift of language, a critical component to success in the information age.

In Focus with Martin Sheen is an independently produced television program airing in markets around the country on public television. The show is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen, who is entering his second half-century in the entertainment industry in 2013. Mr. Sheen has appeared in more than 60 feature films and has also been a shining example of how advocacy for important causes can bring positive results.

In the information age, being able to both absorb and distribute information is perhaps the most important skill to be a part of a changing world. In Focus Martin Sheen PBS is talking to educators about how adult literacy and English language programs are bringing more people into this fast-changing world. Volunteers around the country are helping to give people the gift of information that can lead to better jobs and better connections with friends and family through the power of the internet.

The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen are expecting to have the report ready for broadcast later this year.
