HAWAII FIVE-0 kicked off production of its sixth season in Honolulu today with a traditional Hawaiian blessing in honor of the islands' culture.

Series stars Alex O'Loughlin, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Chi McBride, Jorge Garcia, Teilor Grubbs, Dennis Chun, Ian Anthony Dale, Shawn Garnett and Christopher Sean, as well as the producers and the entire HAWAII FIVE-0 crew, participated. Kahu (Officiant) Kordell Kekoa officiated over the ceremony, which included traditional royal maile leis, Oli Aloha (welcoming chant) and Pule Ho'oku'u (closing prayer). In honor of the show's sixth season, the ceremony centered around the Hawaiian word "'eono," which translates to "six," but also refers to things that are delicious and tantalizing.

The sixth season of HAWAII FIVE-0 premieres Friday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
