Heralded as "one of the best BBC dramas in years" (The Guardian), THE FALL SERIES 1debuts on Blu-ray on March 1, 2016 from Acorn, an RLJ Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand. This hit thriller stars Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson (Bleak House, The Crimson Petal and the White, The X-Files) as DSI Stella Gibson, a steely detective on the trail of a serial killer (Jamie Dornan, Fifty Shades of Grey) stalking the streets of Belfast. The Fall proves as riveting as it is unsettling, granting rare insight into the mind of a sociopath. Taut plotting and outstanding performances have made this series a critical and ratings winner in the UK and popular in the US through Netflix. Also starring Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), John Lynch (Hard Times, In the Name of the Father), Laura Donnelly (Merlin), and Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones), the series first aired in May 2013 on BBC Two. This Blu-ray 2-disc set features 5 episodes plus a bonus behind-the-scenes featurette ($39.99, AcornOnline.com). Series 2 is also being released on March 1 on DVD and Blu-ray. Series 1 was released on DVD in 2013.

From award-winning writer Allan Cubitt (Murphy's Law, Prime Suspect), Gillian Anderson smolders as a British detective summoned to Belfast to solve a high-profile murder. She quickly recognizes the signs of a serial killer, but the culprit (Jamie Dornan) has already targeted his next victim. Over five engrossing episodes, this psychological thriller follows both the hunter and the HUNTED as they attempt to outmaneuver each other in "an intriguing game of cat and mouse" (The Sunday Times).

With vivid characterizations and heart-pounding storytelling, the unforgettable, smash hit psychological thriller returns with THE FALL, SERIES 2 debuting on DVD and Blu-ray on March 1, 2016 from Acorn, an RLJ Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand. DSI Stella Gibson (Emmy® and Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson, Bleak House, The X-Files) continues to hunt serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan, Fifty Shades of Grey). As Gibson tries to help Spector's surviving victim remember the identity of her attacker, Spector deals with loose ends that he left behind in Belfast. When he realizes that someone from his past has been helping the police with their inquiries, Spector changes his plans with terrifying consequences. Co-starring Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), Series 2 first aired in Nov. 2014 on BBC Two. Series 3 is scheduled to air in 2016. The DVD and Blu-ray 2-disc sets each feature 6 episodes plus a bonus behind-the-scenes featurette and deleted scenes ($39.99 each, AcornOnline.com). Additionally, Series 1 makes it Blu-ray debut on March 1st and is available upon request; it was released on DVD in 2013. The Fall won the 2014 Irish Film and TV Awards for Best TV Drama, Best Lead Actor (Jamie Dornan), and Best Original Score.

In Series 2, it's been 10 days since serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan) fled Belfast, and Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) is running out of time to catch him. Then Spector commits a brazen crime to silence someone from his past, and Gibson finds crucial evidence that puts her hot on his trail once more.

"An intelligent show with tremendous acting" (The Atlantic), this "harrowing yet riveting" (The Independent) British drama has enthralled critics and audiences alike. Anderson mesmerizes as the strong, self-possessed detective, while Dornan proves disturbingly charismatic as Spector, a man who is both a sadistic killer and a loving father.
