GIRL MEETS WORLD Enlists SISTER, SISTER's Jackee Harry

Move over Tia and Tamera, Jackee Harry is joining Cory and Topanga.

The SISTER, SISTER star has officially signed on to appear in Disney Channel's GIRL MEETS WORLD pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The BOY MEETS WORLD series spin-off will follow Riley (Rowan Blanchard), the teenage daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel), picking up over a decade after the show concluded its run on ABC in 2000.

Harry's role on the show is being kept quiet for now, the publication notes.

GIRL MEETS WORLD will also co-star Teo Halm and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as Mr. Feeny himself, William Daniels.

Production on the pilot has just begun and should GIRL MEETS WORLD be picked up to series by theDisney Channel, it's expected that the prequel series would land on the 2013-2014 season.

Harry is best known for her role as 'Lisa Landry' on SISTER, SISTER, where she starred opposite Tia and Tamera Mowry. She has also appeared on EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS, LET'S STAY TOGETHER, and THE FIRST FAMILY.
