Page Six of the New York Post reports that former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is being courted to participate on the upcoming season of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS. According to the site, Spicer was in New York City this week to meet with major networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX News, about his next career move.

According to a source, the 45-year-old may be tripping the light fantastic on the hit ABC dance competition. The TV insider confirmed to Page Six that the rumor "has legs." When contacted by phone on Wednesday about the report, Spicer shared, "I have no comment." A rep for ABC also declined to comment, saying "We don't comment on casting."

Spicer would not be the first politician to compete for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Last year, current energy secretary and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry competed on the show. Unfortunately for him, his dancing skills did not impress viewers or judges and he was eliminated from the competition on Week 3.
