Last Wednesday, goalie Cam Talbot stopped all 31 shots he faced, and Rangers leading scorer Rick Nash found the back of the net in a 2-0 victory in New York. The Flyers enter the week following a 4-2 victory on Saturday, and face the New York Islanders and Red Wings prior to Friday's game. The Rangers travel to Tampa Bay on Wednesday to face the Lightning.

PIERRE MCGUIRE INTERVIEWS RANGERS FORWARD MARTIN ST. LOUIS

NBC's coverage will feature a sit-down interview with Pierre McGuire and Rangers forward Martin St. Louis. St. Louis discussed the joy he gets from seeing his three young boys play hockey, while finding the balance between being a star hockey player, a husband and a father.

Following are excerpts from McGuire's conversation with St. Louis:

St. Louis on the joy of watching his boys play hockey: "I love playing hockey - I think I love watching my kids play hockey more than I love to play. It's great when they score, and for them, that's the reward. Knowing the game the way I know the game, it's the little things they do on the ice that nobody sees...but I see it, and that's what makes me proud of how they play the game."

St. Louis comparing his nerves on the ice to his nerves watching his boys on the ice: "I'm probably more on the edge of my seat watching them play than when I play, because when I play, I have control. When they're out there, sometimes they get in a vulnerable position, and I tell them, 'If you stay down, you better be hurt.'"

St. Louis on taking his boys to practice during early mornings after Rangers' night games: "My dad (would take me to practice) at 6 a.m., 7 a.m....it's just part of being a dad. That's the time that you can't get back."

PENGUINS AT BRUINS - TONIGHT AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

This week's NHL coverage kicks off tonight, when the Penguins travel to Boston to face the Bruins at 7 p.m. ET. Sidney Crosby is currently tied with Dallas' Tyler Seguin for second in the NHL in points (26), behind Philadelphia's Jakub Voracek (29), which has propelled Pittsburgh to the top spot in the Metropolitan Division (13-4-2), tied with the New York Islanders (14-6-0). Last year, the Bruins won two of three meetings against the Penguins, including both matchups in Boston.

Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will provide live commentary from TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

FLYERS AT RED WINGS - WEDNESDAY AT 7:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Coverage continues Wednesday when the Flyers travel to Detroit to face the Red Wings at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Detroit looks to rebound from a 4-1 loss on Saturday to Toronto. In their last meeting on Oct. 25, Detroit outshot Philadelphia 37-17, but Flyers goaltender Ray Emery stopped 35 shots en route to a 4-2 victory over the Red Wings.

Jim Jackson (play-by-play), Bill Clement (analyst), and Chris Therien (Inside-The-Glass analyst) will have the call from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.
