In pre-debate results from 8-9 p.m. ET, NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults, men and women 18-34 and adults, men and women 18-49. Note that 8-9 p.m. ratings are subject to adjustment due to out-of-pattern broadcasts in the Mountain Time Zone.

An encore recap telecast of "The Voice" (2.0/7 in 18-49, 7.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): Currently ranks as the #1 show of the hour in adults 18-49 versus all original programming on the other Big 4 networks.

Also leads among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.

Currently is delivering the biggest half-hour to half-hour gain in the time period among the Big 4 (+17%, 1.8 to 2.1).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" increased by +18% in 18-49 (3.31 to 3.92) and +1.9 million viewers overall (12.1 million to 14.0 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

The Vice Presidential Debate aired from 9-10:36 p.m. ET as sustaining programming and won't be included in nightly, weekly or season ratings averages. Post-debate analysis was rated and will be included in official-national results for Tuesday night.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NOTE: Primetime results are based on "fast affiliate time period" data from Nielsen Media Research. All ratings are "live plus same day" unless otherwise indicated. Season-to-date ratings are "most current" - "live plus seven day" except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."
