ESPN today announced its Holiday Baseball telecasts presented by Land Rover for the July Fourth holiday on the first Tuesday of July. The doubleheader features two National League teams in the afternoon followed by an American League battle that night.

In the day's first matchup, the Philadelphia Phillies and Maikel Franco host the Pittsburgh Pirates and Andrew McCutchen at Citizens Bank Park as the Pirates look to use this in-state matchup to move up in the closely contested NL Central at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN (full-national telecast).

Then, the Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts, currently second in the AL East, travel to Arlington, to face the Texas Rangers and Adrián Beltré at 8 p.m. on ESPN. The telecast will be subject to blackout restrictions in the Boston market.

On deck: Tonight, Friday, June 16, the New York Mets and starting pitcher Steven Matz host the National League East-leading Washington Nationals and their starter Max Scherzer at Citi Field. ESPN's telecast presented by Hankook Tire starts at 7 p.m. with Jon Sciambi, Aaron Boone and David Ross in the booth. The telecast will be blacked out in both the Washington and New York markets.
