Disney XD Posts Top Month in Primetime in Network's History in Total Viewers

Powered by the premieres of television movie "Star Wars: Spark of the Rebellion" and original series "Star Wars Rebels," and high performing original telecasts of animated hit "Gravity Falls," Disney XD delivered its #1 month in Primetime in the channel's history in Total Viewers (483,000) and Boys 2-11 (169,000/0.8 rating) - up by double-digits year to year - and its #3 month of all time in Boys 6-11 (129,000/1.1 rating).

Disney XD out-performed key competitor NickToons by double-to-triple digits across the board: Total Viewers (+78% - 483,000 vs. 272,000), Kids 2-11 (+71% - 251,000 vs. 147,000), Boys 2-11 (+59% - 169,000 vs. 106,000), Kids 6-14 (+97% - 240,000 vs. 122,000), Boys 6-14 (+87% - 163,000 vs. 87,000), Kids 6-11 (+101% - 185,000 vs. 92,000), Boys 6-11 (+93% - 129,000 vs. 67,000), Tweens 9-14 (+112% - 155,000 vs. 73,000) and Boys 9-14 (+112% - 104,000 vs. 49,000).

  • The premiere of original series "Star Wars Rebels" (10/13/14, 9:00 - 9:30 p.m.) launched as Disney XD's #1 original animated series debut in the network's over 15-year history (includes Toon Disney) in Total Viewers (1.03 million) and its #1 primetime animated series launch ever in Kids 6-14 (481,000/1.3 rating), Boys 6-14 (369,000/2.0 rating), Kids 6-11 (356,000/1.5 rating) and Boys 6-11 (283,000/2.3 rating).
  • Based on Live + 7 ratings, the Disney XD premiere of television movie "Star Wars Rebels: Spark of the Rebellion" grew by considerable digits in Total Viewers (+47% - 815,000 vs. 555,000), by 37% in Kids 6-14 (+37% - 378,000 vs. 276,000), by 44% in Kids 6-11 (327,000 vs. 227,000) and by 66% in Kids 2-11 (506,000 vs. 304,000).
  • Since their premieres, "Star Wars Rebels: Spark of the Rebellion" and "Star Wars Rebels" have reached 26.4 million unique Viewers worldwide - including 13.4 million kids and 7.9 million boys - in 160 countries/territories and in 31 languages.
