Demi Lovato Talks GLEE On LIVE WITH KELLY & MICHAEL

Demi Lovato Talks GLEE On LIVE WITH KELLY & MICHAELPop star and X FACTOR judge Demi Lovato discussed her upcoming role on FOX's hit musical dramedy series Glee yesterday as part of her appearance on LIVE WITH KELLY & MICHAEL.

Lovato relayed of how her involvement with the series came about and how she first met its creator, Ryan Murphy, saying, "The day before I left for Africa I had the day off and I was going to pack and get all of my errands done and all that I needed to do and then my manager called and said, 'Hey, Ryan Murphy wants to meet with you.'"

Lovato adds, "It was so close, had I left one day after I wouldn't have gotten to meet with him, and they started shooting two days after I got back!"

The hitmaker concludes, "So, while I was in Africa, contracts were signed and deals were done, and then I land and I go straight to work."

Additionally, Lovato says of Murphy and the talented cast, "He's amazing, the cast is amazing - I've been friends with some of the cast-members for a long time now."

Lovato appears in the fifth season of the series, which kicks off on September 26 with two Beatles-themed episodes.
