Soaps in Depth has reported that former ALL MY CHILDREN star, David Canary, will return for the online revival - with Susan Lucci set for at least one episode.

As of now, most plot points are being kept secret, but the site also says that the online revival, heralded by Prospect Park, is setting its sites on a younger demographic. The reboot will reportedly introduce a group of new characters - five high school students - and pick up a few years following the broadcast finale.

The new online versions of the soaps will be 30 minutes in length and will only air original episodes Monday through Thursday with a recap on Fridays. As a result, fewer actors, storylines and writers will be employed. Perhaps Lucci's salary demands are too high for the network. Fans can still hope that her character will make less costly cameo appearances on the show.

Previously announced "All My Children" cast members include: Darnell Williams (Jesse Hubbard), Debbi Morgan (Dr. Angela Hubbard), Vincent Irizarry (Dr. David Hayward), Lindsay Hartley (CAra Martin), Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo), Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt), Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater).
