HOMELAND is heading to Audible.

Variety reports that the star of Showtime's hit series, Damian Lewis, will narrate an "exlusive story extension" for Amazon's audiobook marketplace. The story arc takes place within the first few episodes of the current season.

"The Audible 'Homeland' story has allowed my character, Nick Brody, to forge a more intimate and personal connection with the show's fans, adding additional layers and depth to the plot points unveiled this season," Lewis said.

"With the new season of Homeland in full swing, strategically it is important to explore new mediums and methods of reaching our consumers which includes the large fan base of the show," FOX Consumer Products' Roz Nowicki said.

Lewis' stage credits include John Crowley's production of Into the Woods in the late '90s, as well as Hamlet on Broadway.

Lewis won an Emmy for his portrayal of 'Nicholas Brody' in Showtime's Homeland. Lewis' other TV credits include The Forsyte Saga, Life and Band of Brothers.
