Award-winning indie feature DETOURS will get a Black Friday release on Amazon Prime, as the movie debuts on Friday November 25. Richard Kind (Inside Out), Michael Cerveris (TONY award winner for Fun Home on Broadway), and Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas) join stars Tara Westwood (Surviving Family) and Carlo Fiorletta (Available: A Modern Day Fairy Tale) in this road-trip dramedy.

A newly-single New Yorker (Westwood) must re-locate to Florida, and convinces her dad (Fiorletta) to join her on the journey. Mom's ashes, in a coffee can, come along for the ride. Richard Propes' review in The Independent Critic called the movie "emotionally honest" and "a story so seldom seen in the multiplexes these days."

The outstanding cast features many Broadway and off-Broadway regulars, including Betsy Aidem (All The Way), Marguerite Stimpson (The Elephant Man), Vanessa Aspillaga (Daphne's Dive), Phyllis Somerville (I Remember Mama), Deirdre O'Connell (The Way West), Aaron Roman Weiner (Fool for Love), and Debargo Sanyal (Love, Sex, and Death in the Amazon).

DETOURS was directed by Robert McCaskill (Heterosexuals) and written by Mara Lesemann (Surviving Family). For more information, see www.detoursfeaturefilm.com.
