Late night talk show host Conan O'Brien will make his first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN in 13 years when he appears on the broadcast Thursday, May 17 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

O'Brien succeeded Letterman as host of "Late Night" in 1993 after Letterman left the show to begin his LATE SHOW on CBS. O'Brien hosted "Late Night" until 2009, when he became host of "The Tonight Show" until January 2010. In November 2010, he began another chapter in his career with the debut of his late night cable talk show, "Conan," which he currently hosts.

This will Mark O'Brien's fifth visit to the LATE SHOW. He last sat down for an interview with Letterman 13 years ago, on Jan. 13, 1999.

Also featured on the LATE SHOW on Thursday, May 17 are musician John Mayer, who will be sitting in with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra, and a performance by musical guest Regina Spektor.

The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
