Comedy Central Announces Live Late Night Election Night Coverage

Comedy Central has a yuuggeeee plethora of politically-themed programming slated for the 2016 Presidential Election highlighted by an all-LIVE Late Night Election Night featuring a special, one-hour telecast of "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" airing LIVE on both coasts (11:00 p.m.-midnight ET / 8:00-9:00 p.m. PT), followed by the two-time, Emmy(R) Award-winning "@midnight with Chris Hardwick" going LIVE for the first time in its history at midnight ET / 9:00 p.m. PT. In prime time, Comedy Central will kick things off with the "Tosh.0lection Special" at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT by a politically-themed "best-of" episode of the Emmy(R) Award-winning "Drunk History," hosted by Derek Waters.

The culmination of its ongoing "Democalypse 2016" coverage of the presidential election, "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" will provide up-to-the-minute Election Night coverage with a special, one-hour telecast LIVE on both coasts beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT featuring news and analysis from host Trevor Noah and from "The Best F#@king News Team," including Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic, Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj and Roy Wood Jr., as the election results come in. Also, fans will be able to view the LIVE Election Night episode through a multi-platform streaming experience on comedycentral.com and the Comedy Central App.

Also going LIVE, for the first time in its history, the "@midnight with Chris Hardwick" Election Night special (12:00 a.m. ET / 9:00 p.m. PT) will welcome all-star panelists Whitney Cummings, Ron Funches, and Paul F. Tompkins who will react in real-time to all the best blow-ups and melt-downs on social media and beyond as America finally closes the browser on this never-ending presidential race.

Leading up to Comedy Central's LIVE Late Night Election Night will be an all-new episode of "Tosh.0" featuring election-themed videos exploring the people, places and things of Internet infamy and social media misfires. "Tosh.0lection Special" will premiere at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Immediately following, "Drunk History" will air a special "best of" episode hosted by Derek Waters and fan favorite Steve Berg at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, featuring past stories related to Presidents and elections including: the contentious campaign between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson; Edith Wilson running the country after Woodrow Wilson had a stroke; and Abraham Lincoln working as a lawyer before entering politics.

On Monday, November 7, Comedy Central will presents "South Park: Make America Mmmkay Again," a politically-themed marathon of "South Park" episodes from 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
