"Cop Show," an eight-episode Web series written by and starring comedian and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (SNL) alum Colin Quinn, has been ordered by L/Studio (LStudio.com) for the series debut season on February 18th. The comedy is executive produced by Morris S. Levy of MEGA Films (HBO's "Seduced and Abandoned"), Brian Stern (Comedy Central's "Big Time in Hollywood, FL") and Colin Quinn and directed by J.D. Amato ("The Chris Gethard Show"). Shooting began last month in New York City.

"Cop Show" is a brave, bold new show that takes on the issues the other cops shows are afraid to deal with. Crime, for one. Also the police. And the legal system. The eight-episode comedy series, which takes a fictional behind-the-scenes look at Colin Quinn trying to make an NYC cop drama, will feature Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Norton, Amy Schumer, Jim Gaffigan, SNL's Michael Che, Peter Grosz, Griffin Newman and other special guest stars in each episode.

"People laugh and think such a hard hitting series can't be done," said Colin Quinn. "Uncharted territory? Hey, uncharted territory is what led Columbus to... is that not a good example these days? Anyway you know what I'm trying to say. Watch 'Cop Show.'"

Lexus' L/Studio gained fame with its popular hit "Web Therapy," created by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky.

"'Cop Show' offers a satirical behind-the-scenes take on crime dramas, and we're pleased to welcome this very funny cast to the L/Studio family," said Brian Smith, vice president of marketing for Lexus. "L/Studio provides artists with a unique outlet to express their creativity, and this series is another example of the offbeat content ideal for this platform. We're excited for the future of the broadband channel and look forward to sharing additional upcoming projects this season."

L/Studio is the Lexus-owned broadband channel behind award-winning entertainment like "Web Therapy" and "Puppy Love." Currently in its sixth year, L/Studio hosts an eclectic collection of original films, live-action shows, documentaries and comedy programs designed to inspire viewers. The channel also includes original work from the worlds of art, culture, design, science, entertainment, architecture and beyond.

COLIN QUINN (Creator/Star) Colin Quinn recently wrapped up his national tour of his off-broadway hit Colin Quinn Unconstitutional, the follow up to his Tony and Emmy nominated one man show, Colin Quinn Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld. Best known for his run on SNL and star of Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn", Colin is currently recurring on HBO's "Girls", and will be seen later this year in Judd Apatow's "Trainwreck", opposite Amy Schumer. His first book "The Coloring Book" (Grand Central Publishing) will be on shelves in June 2015.
