UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter reports that Chris Rock has not made any decision regarding how he will address the #OscarsSoWhite controversy during the Academy Awards. His rep shot down comments made by Oscar producer Reginald Hudlin over the weekend.

"Regarding Reggie Hudlin's comments about Chris Rock's Oscar hosting duties, neither he nor anyone else speaks for Chris," said Rock's publicist, Leslie Sloane in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "Chris has made no decisions about the content of the show. All will be revealed on February 28th. We will not comment further on this," Sloane added.

Host Chris Rock is not only ignoring calls for him to step down as host of the upcoming ACADEMY AWARDS, he plans to re-write his opening monologue to incorporate #OscarsSoWhite jokes.

Oscar's producer Reginald Hudlin revealed the news exclusively to ET, saying that the funnyman will not be dropping out, despite recent outrage over the lack of ethnic diversity in the 2016 nominations.

"As things got a little provocative and exciting, he said, 'I'm throwing out the show I wrote and writing a new show'," Hudlin tells ET. "Chris is that thorough. He's that brilliant, and I have 1,000 percent confidence that he will deliver something that people will be talking about for weeks."

Will Smith and his wife have been among the A-list stars who have revealed that they will boycotting this year's ceremony. Others who have voiced their opinions on the issue in recent days include Charlotte Rampling, Michael Caine, Reese Witherspoon, David Oyelowo, 50 Cent, Danny DeVito and SPIKE Lee.

Hudlin tells the site, "You should expect [#OscarsSoWhite jokes]. And, yes, the Academy is ready for him to do that. They're excited about him doing that. They know that's what we need. They know that's what the public wants, and we deliver what the people want."
