Chasing Taste, the comedy for food lovers everywhere, has just been released on iTunes and Verizon FIOS via Seed&Spark.

Chasing Taste is the Best Comedy winner of the 2014 Manhattan Film Festival and 2013 Burbank International Film Festival. This screwball comedy follows down and out writer Chase Guidry as he becomes NYC's #1 food critic overnight and in a freak accident, loses his sense of taste and smell and has to rely on a team of super smellers and tasters to help him fake his reviews.

The screenplay is written by Lori Fischer and produced by Ashley Wren Collins, Maitely Weismann and Sean Gannet. The picture also marks the feature film directorial debut of Sean Gannet.

Chasing Taste features Broadway veterans Rita Gardner, Chuck Cooper, Lynn Cohen, Nancy Opel, Alison Cimmet, Bill Dawes, Deidre Goodwin and Producing Artistic Director of the Classical Theatre of Harlem, Ty Jones, as the movie's villain, Bennett Brulee.

Other cameos include fan onscreen favorites, Kevin Brown (30 Rock), Joseph R. Gannascoli (The Sopranos), Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Entertainment, country western superstar Phil Vassar and famed chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt.
