CBS' THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS marks 1,457 consecutive weekly wins -28 years-as daytime's #1 drama, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 9.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, currently in its 43nd season, began its winning streak the week of Dec. 26, 1988.

For the week, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS averaged 4.66m and was first in women 25-54 (1.4/10) for the 511th time in 513 weeks and first in women 18-49 (0.9/07) for the 505th time in 509 weeks. Season-to-date, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is averaging 4.95 and is first among all daytime programs in women 25-54 (1.6/11) and women 18-49 (1.0/08).

The continuing drama revolving around the loves, enmities, hopes and fears of the residents of the fictional Midwestern town of Genoa City.
