CBS Wins Tuesday in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

NCIS, Tuesday's #1 program in viewers, finished in its closest competitive position to "The Voice" in adults 18-49, while NCIS: Los Angeles swept its time period with week-to-week growth in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for May 6.

NCIS was first in viewers (15.66m) and second in adults 25-54 (3.3/10, -0.1 behind NBC) and adults 18-49 (2.3/08, -0.1 behind NBC). NCIS finished in its closest competitive position against "The Voice" in adults 18-49 since the program moved to 8:00 PM. NCIS was the night's #1 program in viewers and the night's #1 scripted program in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (14.00m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). NCIS: Los Angeles beats second-place NBC by +68% in adults 25-54 (vs. 1.9/05), +57% in adults 18-49 (vs. 1.4/04) and by +8.21m viewers (vs. 5.79m, +142%). Compared to last week, NCIS: Los Angeles was up +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06).

At 10:00 PM, Person of Interest was first in viewers (10.41m), adults 25-54 (2.7/07) and second in adults 18-49 (1.7/05).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (13.36m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06). CBS won Tuesday in viewers for the 11th consecutive week, in adults 25-54 for the seventh time in eight weeks and was first in adults 18-49 for the fifth time in seven Tuesdays. CBS beat second-place NBC by more than +5.60m viewers (vs. 7.74m, +73%), +19% in adults 25-54 (vs. 2.6/07) and +11% in adults 18-49 (vs. 1.9/06).
