CBS'S THE PRICE IS RIGHT Kicks Off Its First Male Model Search Today

CBS Daytime's THE PRICE IS RIGHT announces its first-ever nationwide search for a male model with casting calls in Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Spartanburg, S.C. In addition to local auditions, men ages 18 and older can enter online by submitting a video demonstrating their standout modeling skills beginning today, Sept 6. Semi-finalists from Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Spartanburg will move on to the next round on Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Los Angeles where they will compete for the coveted week-long spot on television's longest-running game show, with host Drew Carey. In 2012, THE PRICE IS RIGHT held a successful Southern California male model casting call, which led to the decision to expand to a nationwide search.

The nationwide search, which kicked-off in Spartanburg, SC. on Aug.16, will include open casting calls in Boston on Saturday, Sept. 6, Dallas on Sunday, Sept. 7, Philadelphia on Monday, Sept. 8 and Los Angeles onTuesday, Sept. 30. Semi-finalists will be flown to Los Angeles where they will be interviewed and judged by a panel of experts on their sense of humor, red carpet skills and, of course, how to model a car.

In Los Angeles, the hopefuls will advance to the final round of auditions which will be included in a six-episode web series competition on priceisright.com. At the conclusion of the web series, the final three contestants will be revealed on CBS Daytime's THE TALK. Then, fans will then have the opportunity to vote online for their favorite male model at priceisright.com. The grand prize winner will be announced on THE PRICE IS RIGHT on Monday, Dec. 8 and begin his week-long modeling gig on Monday, Dec. 15 in Los Angeles.
