For the week ending April 17, CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news broadcast to post year-to-year gains in adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, viewers (+12%, 3.53m from 3.14m), and women 18-49 (+17%, 0.7/06 from 0.6/05) according to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings. CBS THIS MORNING added +390,000 viewers, closing the viewership gap with NBC by 560,000 viewers compared to last year.

Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING continues to be the only network morning news program to post a viewer gain (+8%, 3.34m from 3.10m), and the only program to maintain its adults 25-54 rating (0.9/07) compared to a year ago.

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY

On Saturday, April 18, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY was the only Saturday morning network news broadcast to post year-to-year gains in viewers (+3%, 2.01m from 1.95m). CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY added +60,000 viewers compared to last year.

Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +20% in adults 25-54 (0.6/04 from 0.5/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, and +7% in viewers (2.12m from 1.97m), and is the only Saturday morning network news broadcast posting gains in either measure.
