CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH Charles Osgood was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54 - the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news - as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 14, 2013.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.9/11 with 5.55m viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/07), +13% in viewers (from 4.91m) and +11% in households (from 3.5/10).

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +7% in both adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) and viewers (5.66m from 5.30m), and up +8% in households (4.0/11 from 3.7/10) compared to last year.
Sunday's broadcast featured Anthony Mason's report on the history of the Internal Revenue Service, Lee Cowan's profile of acting legend Cicely Tyson, Mark Phillips' interview with Carla Bruni, the former First Lady of France, and Serena Altschul's report on Thor Heyerdahl's famed 1947 voyage from South America to the Polynesian Islands aboard the raft, "Kon-Tiki," which is the subject of an upcoming theatrical film.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
