CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH JANE PAULEY remained America's #1 Sunday morning news program and posted year-to-year gains in viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 16.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.10 million viewers and a 1.1/06 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same week a year ago, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers (from 5.07m) and up +10% in adults 25-54 (from 1.0/06).

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program, delivering 5.60 million viewers (up +9% from 5.15m) and a 1.2/07 in adults 25-54 (up +20% from a 1.0/06 last year).

Sunday's broadcast featured Pauley's interview with actress Sarah Jessica Parker; Univision anchor Maria Elena Salinas' report on Hispanics in America; Rita Braver's profile of legendary songwriter Carole Bayer Sager; Martha Teichner's look at the history of bumper stickers; Lee Cowan's visit to S.C. Johnson, the iconic American company; Jim Gaffigan's commentary on moving to Canada if the election doesn't go his way; Bill Flanagan's look at the Desert Trip music festival; John Blackstone's report on new updates at the Nixon Library; and Steve Hartman's story on a Cleveland woman who got lost while on a trip and how asking for directions changed her life.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
