CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation's #1 Sunday morning news program, is delivering season-to-date gains in viewers, according to Nielsen's most current ratings. Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 6.12 million viewers (+2% in viewers from 6.0m last year) and a 1.2/07 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program in these measures.

On Feb. 26, CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted 5.96 million viewers (even with a year ago) and a 1.2/07 in adults 25-54.

Jane Pauley anchored Sunday's Oscar-themed broadcast, which started with Lee Cowan's cover story on the craft of creating compelling opening and closing credit sequences in films and on television. The broadcast also featured Serena Altschul's profile of designer Christian Siriano; Rita Braver's visit to Monaco to speak with Prince Albert about the Princess Grace Foundation; Pauley's profile of actress Sally Field; and Elizabeth Palmer's interview with filmmaker Simon Fitzmaurice who, while suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS), directed his first feature-length movie using only his eyes to communicate. Also on the broadcast was David Pogue's look at how Hollywood tech wizards are able to create digital duplicates of stars -even some who are dead - to use in films; critic David Edelstein's Academy Awards picks; and Pixar's animated Oscar-winning short film "Piper."

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
