CBS SUNDAY MORNING Delivers Over 6 Million Viewers for 4th Consecutive Week

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD delivered more than 6 million viewers for the fourth consecutive week and remained the #1 Sunday morning news program, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 24.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted 6.43 million viewers and a 1.5/07 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +7% in both viewers (from 6.03m) and adults 25-54 (from 1.4/07).

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 5.89 million viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54.

Sunday's broadcast featured Lee Cowan's interview with President Barack Obama; Mo Rocca's report on the lingering effects of head injuries to football players and what is being done to prevent them; Anthony Mason's profile of Oscar nominated actress Charlotte Rampling; Margaret Brennan's look at THE LIFE and work of German expressionist painter Ernst Kirchner, whose paintings the Nazis considered "degenerate;" Conor Knighton's nostalgic look at a reunion of Pan Am flight attendants; Scott Simon's thoughts on the political debate on natural born citizens and restrictions on who can become president; and Steve Hartman's tale of a restaurateur with Down syndrome who opens a new restaurant with the woman he loves.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
