Tonight we received further evidence that Theo is a tad bit psycho and more uncertainty regarding the fate of Lydia, Parrish and now Stiles? And it all went down in a club called Sinema.

Lydia's timeline is a bit confusing. Are we in flashbacks with she and Parrish or flash forwards? Or, are we in her subconscious? Is she already in the mental hospital and we're in her mind? It's hard to say. Regardless, she has a conversation with Parrish in which he tells her of his recurring dream of him carrying dead bodies to a tree in the middle of a clearing. Lydia tells him exactly where that is because it draws supernatural creatures, may even make them more powerful. He doesn't tell her the end of the dream, but it involves him being engulfed in flames, surrounded by bodies. In a later flash back/forward, he informs her that he is a martial artist and she begs him to teach her to fight.

However, in the present, Lydia actually lay dying on the police station floor after Tracy's attack. Scott, Stiles, Theo and Deacon show up to the chaos. Theo springs into action to save Lydia's life, but Stiles is frozen. He and Scott search for Malia and she informs them of the strange creatures that terminated Tracy. Lydia is rushed to the hospital and into surgery. As she is falling under the anesthesia, she hallucinates (?) that the scary masked men are the ones operating on her.

Deaton can't figure out how Tracy was able to escape through the mountain ash circle he encapsulated her in since it traps all supernatural creatures. Upon further investigation, he realizes that someone is creating creatures and is blurring the lines between science and supernatural. Tracy was supernatural, but like, not. So, thanks again, Deaton, clears that all right up. Malia takes it upon herself to go back to Tracy's room for further investigation and finds a book entitled, "The Dread Doctors" with a picture right on the cover of the creatures she saw terminate Tracy. Finally, we have a name for these villains.

Through science and research, they discover the existence of a Chimera which is a creature with multiple sets of DNA. When a young patient is brought into the hospital suffering from a giant scorpion bite, Scott and Kira learn of "Lucas" from Patient Zero. And Lucas just happens to be half Scorpion, half Werewolf. (Gotta say, I'm with Kira on this one. And if they're not playing "Rock You Like a Hurricane," I have no desire to see any Scoprions. #dated) They head to the club called "Sinema" where Liam and Mason have already gone. Mason is attracted to Lucas and heads over to hook up with him. As they begin to kiss, Lucas' scales (?) pop out and as he is about to sting Mason, Brett intervenes. Brett, Liam and Scott take on Lucas, but it is Kira who defeats him and nearly kills him before Scott stops her. As they are about to remove Lucas to Deaton's, the Dread Doctors appear and kill Lucas. They inform Scott his condition was terminal.

Meanwhile, the Dread Doctors still have Donovan captive and are removing his teeth. Theo arrives (apparently he's working with them? For them? They're working for him?) and informs him of why exactly he didn't get admitted into the police academy and it was, in fact, that he was kind of psycho. (Like Theo is one to talk...) He informs Donovan that now he has powers and if he really wants to get back at Sheriff Stalinsky, physical pain is temporary, but emotional pain lasts forever. Go get Stiles. (Nooooooo!) Stiles is alone in the parking lot with a broken down car when Donovan arrives and attacks him with his hand, that is also a mouth. (I can't make this stuff up.) We also see a very naked Parrish (thank you) carrying Lucas' body to the clearing he mentioned to Lydia.

Couple Questions:

  • The girl that Liam hates, but will eventually end up in a relationship with... do we have a name on her yet?

  • Are Mason and Brett just as inevitable?

  • Mama McCall seems to take in stride the supernatural-ness of all of this way better than the Sheriff, does she not? Isn't that someone you want to date, Sheriff Stalinsky?

  • Was that the first time Scott told Kira he loved her?

  • Pretty sure I was sheltered in high school, but are there really clubs that exist like that for 16 year olds to go to?

  • Did Malia give up on the Desert Wolf or was she just putting it aside for now to figure out what happened to Tracy?

  • What the heck is Parrish?

  • Are the Dread Doctors playing Coachella next year?

Favorite Exchange:

Sheriff - This is a crime scene, we need to call the coroner.

Deaton - I think the Coroner might be very confused about this girl's severed reptilian tail.
