The new addition to the Lahiri/Castellano family is going to have its work cut out for it, because Mom and Dad are a little nuts. But one thing's for sure, as different as their value systems may be, they are in this thing together.

Even though Danny's first instinct is a shame wedding at City Hall, he finally agrees with Mindy that maybe their engagement shouldn't take place in front of a sleeping Morgan in the doctor's lounge. Mindy still dreams of opening her fertility clinic with Rob in San Francisco and if it means keeping the family together, Danny is moving with her. Now he has to break it to the staff. However, in all of his THREE'S COMPANY glory, Morgan misunderstands what he thinks Dr. C's news is and tells everyone he's dying. Jeremy is reluctant at first, but eventually believes Morgan. To the point where they set up a wake in his honor with a performance by the Staten Island Boys Choir. Danny finally reveals that his actual plan is to move to San Francisco and leave the practice because Mindy is pregnant.

Back in San Francisco, Mindy and Rob are denied a loan because of Mindy's credit. Turns out she co-signed for an apartment for her brother, Rishi, and he defaulted in a big way. Rishi is now a drug dealer working for, "Big Murder." (Guest Star, John Cho). Horrified, Mindy confronts Big Murder and finally convinces Rishi to come work for her at the clinic. Rob, who has taken the loan out himself, refuses to hire Rishi because of his dealings and can't handle the risk. Mindy offers to buy Rob out and as she realizes that she needs to be in a place that puts family first, like Danny said. With some encouragement from her schoolmates at Stanford, she decides to open up her own practice in New York.

I think even though Mindy thinks Danny is crazy in some ways, she is really coming to see how important family can be. Even though Rishi disappointed her immensely, she put him before herself which is a huge step for our new mother-to-be. It was really nice to see Cliff again, albeit briefly. He always likes to stir up trouble, but I doubt even he can throw a wrench in the solid bond of Danny and Mindy. Plus, he's apparently moving out of the building so was this the last we'll see of him? And speaking of neighbors, I sure hope TRANSPARENT and TOGETHERNESS don't keep our favorite midwives, the Deslauriers, away too long. I can't imagine they'll be too happy with Mindy's new practice in the building. Speaking of... what will Jeremy's reaction to that be? Poor Jeremy, everyone is just leaving him behind. And where will that leave Morgan? He adores Mindy, but is he more loyal to her than to Dr. C? As always, Morgan is my biggest concern. I only want him to be happy and loved. Also, I really miss Peter. Whatever happens, Shulman and Associates is in shambles and with the end of the season fast approaching and all these major changes happening, who is going to get hurt? My money's on Jeremy, the poor Brit.

Lines I Love:

  • Cliff - It's a good time to be a divorce attorney, I'll tell ya that. Three years after gay marriage and those divorces are finally rolling in.

  • Danny (Pointing at a magazine cover) - Is that a Dad penguin protecting his baby penguin from the arctic cold? Morgan - Well, it's the Nature's Dads issue, so good call, Eisenstein.

  • Mindy - Wait, fine, my credit's bad. Do you accept street cred?

  • Danny's Attorney - So you no longer want to leave all your money to Annette Castellano and the Priests of St. Anthony's Defense Fund?

  • Jeremy - Danny is not dying. He's the healthiest person I know. His favorite junk food is raisins.

One last thing, when I die, please have Morgan and Tamra sing at my wake. Thank you.
