On tonight's episode of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, Jake and Boyle are attempting to catch a drug dealer, which leads them to have to reluctantly join forces with the nerdy lead investigator at the U.S. Postal Service, Jack Danger. Back at the 99th precinct, the rest of the team helps Amy quit smoking. Keep reading for the full recap, but beware of SPOILERS!

The precinct missed Scully's birthday, they all made up lies that got them out of it, but they realize they have to make it up to him. They give him $20 each (Holt covers for Jake) as a repayment. Hitchcock and Scully actually planned it to get money, and they claim they are geniuses, that is until Scully drinks out of his cup full of thumb tacks.

Rosa's task force brought in another guy who had giggle pig, and he was the second guy with a key that has a USPS engraving on it. Rosa sends Jake to the Post Office to find out more. Holt tells Amy she might need to come in on Saturday, and she gave him sass. She tells him she's on edge because she's trying to quit smoking. She asks the team to keep an eye on her while she attempts to cut cold turkey. Jake and Boyle are at the Post Office, going to meet Jack Danger. They are at USPIS, the US Postal Inspector Service. Danger points out the key is used to open a type of mail box they haven't used in years, but that there are few they haven't gotten rid of yet. Danger said he'll send him a list of the locations where they are.

Terry asks Amy how it's going, and tells her how he used to have an addiction: food. He told her he beat it by curbing his cravings. (Terry used to be fat! Whaaat.) He shows her how he'd dump his head into cold water to re-set his brain, and makes Amy do it. Rosa tells Jake that he has to keep working with Danger, who Jake finds boring.

Jake, Boyle, and Danger are on their way to check out one of the mail boxes. When they open the mail box they find giggle pig, and Danger sees someone about to make a drop, and is too rattled and makes Jake lose the suspect. Amy to smoke, and Holt tells her how he used to have an addiction to betting the ponies. What worked for him was replacing a bad addiction for a good addiction: exercise. Holt tells her they will exercise together, in silence. Jake and Danger have to tell Rosa they lost a gigglepig supplier. Jake talks to Rosa one-on-one and tells her how he's the "world's biggest tool," but Rosa tells Jake he still has to work with him because there's a clear connection to the mail boxes.

Amy and Holt finish their run and Amy goes to use the port-a-potty and starts smoking in it. Jake and Boyle are at Danger's office trying to figure out what the connection with the mail boxes are. Boyle asks who's job it was to collect the keys, and Jake says the five people responsible for the key collection are their suspects, but Danger doesn't think it's a good idea. He says that he won't give them a list of names, but instead they will continue to stake out the mail boxes. Danger leaves the office to get muffins, and Jake sneaks on to his computer to print the list of names.

Jake and Boyle are checking on the 3rd of five names, and it's the guy from this morning. Back at the precinct, Gina is leading Amy on a guided meditation, with Holt and Terry participating as a show of support. Gina tells Amy how meditation helped her pass her shopping addiction. Gina leads her meditation, and when they open their eyes they see Amy smoking at the window. She tells them she quits quitting. Jake and Boyle return, and announce they have their first major gigglepig arrest. Rosa is mad, however, because Danger called and said Jake abandoned him and stole classified information.

Because of what Jake did, Danger and the USPIS is taking over the case, so Rosa's task force won't get any credit. Jake knows the only way to make it right is to apolgize to Danger. Danger doesn't buy his apologize, and to prove it Jake has to listen to one of Danger's really long stories about the history of the Postal Service.

After his long story, Danger accepts his apologize, and tells him he needs help finding out where the shipment is coming in tonight. Jake figures it out, and they head out. Holt talks to Amy and tells her how it might be easier to quit if she stops trying to be such a perfectionist. To set an example, Holt used a dangling preposition, a grammar error he'd never usually make. At the gigglepig bust, Jake apologizes to Rosa for being a jerk. Rosa leads the raid and they successfully arrested everyone. Danger hit is head on the doorway coming in and knocked out cold, and missed the entire raid, but the bruise he got will make him a hero at the USPIS.

Ed Helms guest starred as Jack Danger, pronounced "Donger" (it's derived from a Dutch word that prudence in financial matters, naturally.) Personally, I enjoyed Helms' guest-starring role, because he plays those weird characters so well! He is perfect for the overly enthusiastic postal worker inspector. I hope he goes "postal" and decides to guest star in another episode!

So Rosa's task force finally has some success! I am glad it's finally gaining momentum, because Rosa wants to do good for the precinct, and getting to the bottom of who is the main supplier of gigglepig would be a big win for her. I also love Jake and Rosa's relationship and how he really does care about her and hates upsetting her. They have such a strong friendship and I hope to see more of their relationship explored.

Amy is trying to quit smoking, not an easy task! It was great seeing the team band together to help her break her habit, too. I am trying to decide who's addiction was funnier: Terry's food addiction or Holt's gambling addiction. Not because of the addiction itself, but their protrayals of them. Only Holt could lose everything and have no expression whatsoever. And seeing as though Terry is one of the fittest people in THE WORLD, it's funny to think he used to have a weight problem. Hopefully Amy can break her perfectionist tendency and be able to break her smoking habit. Maybe some more of Gina's meditation will help--probably not.

Favorite Moments from "USPIS"

Terry: "I said I had to go to my girl's bat-mitzvahs."

Holt: "Yes, the capital of Ecuador is Quito."

Jake: "My best guess, this opens a creepy old wardrobe slash portal to an enchanted land full of talking toads and fairy folk."

Gina: "Her mind finally snapped, like a stale breadstick."

Danger: "How would you like it if they laid off all of your fellow detectives and partnered you with Robocop?" Jake: "I've literally drawn sketches of that!"

Terry (in the past): "I need my moo-shu pork!!"

Holt (in the past): Go Razzmatazz. Go Razzmatazz. Go Razzmatazz. I lost everything."

Jake to Rosa: "If he tells me one more time about how USPIS "mailed" down the Berlin Wall I will give him your home address, and you will receive holiday cards from him forever."

Jake: "We shall call them: the Fellowship of the Key."

Amy: "Familiar with? A dangling preposition?"

Holt: "I'm just going to let it dangle, dangle, dangle."
