ETonline reports that Beyonce, James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson are set to perform at the January 21st 57th PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION.

A statement from President Obama released today reads: "Vice President [Joe] Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony. Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country."

According to the report, Beyonce will be performing the National Anthem while American Idol winner Clarkson will take on My Country Tis of Thee. James Taylor will sing his version of America the Beautiful.

President Obama was involved in chosing the performers for the ceremony, according to the press statement. Others who are set to participate in the patriotic event are Myrlie Evers-Williams, who will give the invocation; Richard Blanco, who will serve as the Inaugural poet; and Reverend Louie Giglio, who will deliver the Benediction.

In 2009, Beyonce performed the Etta James classic 'At Last' at the Inaugural Ball. During the number, the newly inaugurated Obama and wife Michelle shared their first official dance as President and First Lady.
